2** Yankees/Baltimore under 10 (-115) (7pm) - Garcia has been quietly pitching some decent ball. Since being inserted into the starting rotation he has an ERA just a tick under 4. Gonzalez had his 1st bad outing last time out. He was behind the hitters all day for the 1st time in his career. I am looking for a more aggressive outing from him this time. The Yankee offense while still potent, is less productive with Ichiro/Nix in there basically taking the place of A-Rod. The O's are a solid 30-19 to the under on the road TY.
2** Pittsburgh -130 over Cubs (8pm) - Day 17 of 19 in the Pitt tail. We are missing Samardzija and Maholm, who have been the best 2 Cubs pitchers. Dempster will he be around after today? Germano is the booty the Cubs got from the Bosox for Marlon Byrd. Germano is projected as a 5th stagled on the road rter, long reliever. Bedard struggled on the road earlier in the year, but has been solid since the All star break. Bedard has 2 starts vs the Cubs TY and has allowed just 1 ER in 13 IP.
2** Seattle -105 over Toronto (10pm) - What is wrong with Romero? Romero was living a charmed life for a while but the roof has collapsed on Ricky. He has lost his L6 starts and the Blue Jays have scored a total of ZERO runs in his L4 starts. Today the Jays travel X-Country and catch a Seattle team playing their best ball of the year. Iwakuma will keep you in games and right now with the way Romero is pitching, that is good enough to get a W. Seattle is starting to hit at home. Until Romero shows signs of turning it around, I will look to fade him.
